The Florida School of Traditional Midwifery offers excellence in direct entry midwifery education in an environment that encourages students to reach their full potential. We believe it is our responsibility to promote the awareness and accessibility of midwifery services to our students and thus to the community at large. As well, our school is devoted to providing thoughtful solutions to the needs of the community concerning health care, parent education, family support, childhood development, and healthy lifestyle choices. Our graduates are prepared to be community builders through the knowledge and practice of midwifery.

Wollheim Devine Memorial Fund
Jennifer Wollheim Devine was a dynamic, energetic, and nurturing woman who had a deep calling to become a midwife and realized her dream when she attended and graduated from the Florida School of Traditional Midwifery. Jennifer shared enormous gifts with our community by being employed as a Licensed Midwife at the Birth Center of Gainesville and working as an instructor and Clinical Director at the school.
Sadly, Jennifer passed away over six years ago but her deep desire and commitment to offer women and families the right to choose how and where they birth is being honored by her family and friends through the Wollheim Devine Memorial Fund. This fund has been established to assist the education of midwifery students. It will provide emergency funds for students struggling along their journey to help them fulfill their dreams and aspirations.
To contribute to this fund, please use the paypal link provided. Or send a check made out to: FSTM at 810 E. University Ave., Gainesville, FL 32601
If you are a midwifery student at FSTM and want to apply for funds, you may submit your letter request to: email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
